The Art of Unit Testing
It appears there are those who think it's perfectly Ok to steal Roy Osherove's latest book, "The Art of Unit Testing".
Seems a bit rich to me - after three years of hard work, surely Roy deserves the small recompense he gets for each copy sold.
I wonder how many of those who cheerfully stole his work would be just as happy to have three years of their hard work stolen by people too lazy or too cheap to pay.
For the record: I've read the book, a legit physical copy that I held in my own two hands while commuting on the train.
"The Art of Unit Testing" is good - really good. If you're still getting your head around Unit testing and want a superbly written guide, pay Roy Osherove his dues and buy his book.

I agree
I completely agree with you here Bevan.
I was just face palming yesterday while reading somebody bitching on twitter than they needed to sign up to get MySQL downloads. This individual commented that he always enters "asdf" in those type forms.
This is a FREE database with THOUSANDS of man hours of work put into it and yet he's STILL bitching that he has to complete a few form fields to access it.
This type of thinking is becoming more pervasive and it really annoys me. It's like as a society we're hell bent on ensuring that there is very little reason to try and deliver value.
End rant.
