MonoDroid and MonoTouch

The final meeting of the Wellington .NET User group for the year will have Nic Wise over from the UK to talk about mobile development with MonoDroid and MonoTouch.

Mobile devices are the new, hot thing in development, once again.
After all the coverage on Windows Phone 7, come and see how your existing .NET skills can be put to use writing applications for iOS and Android, using Novell's MonoTouch and MonoDroid. We'll look at how MonoTouch works around a lot of the iPhone's restrictions, and what you have to learn to get applications into the AppStore. (MonoDroid coverage will be limited as it's only available in private beta).

Rumour has it that Nic may be bringing a prize or two, so worth coming along.
