Caliburn.Micro for Client Apps
Coming up this Wednesday 15 June, an interesting presentation by Ian Randall at SLAMD:
Recognised by complete strangers as "The XAML guy", Ian Randall is coming to the big smoke to talk all about Rob Eisenberg's Caliburn.Micro framework.
This session talks about the 'MVVM' pattern - why it's such a good fit for client (SL and WPF) apps, and what pieces we need to put together to call ourselves MVVM practitioners.
We'll do a fairly deep dive into Rob Eisenberg's awesome Caliburn.Micro framework, and show how it not only facilitates MVVM, but unlike other frameworks, it stays completely out your way, leaving you to focus on writing business rules, not plumbing code.
For more information, see the SLAMD Meetup event page.
